My passion for auctions started after my first farm auction as a teenager. I was instantly hooked and have been attending auctions for the last 20 years often times 3 to 4 per week. In those 20 years there have been many trends, starting with the good old live auctions that you’d find in the newspaper to live auctions incorporated with the on-line bidding method known as simulcast. Around that time On-line only auctions started making a presence in the business. I have noticed that on-line only auctions often time yield much higher prices vs the live or simulcast auctioning method. In my experience there is no question that the on-line only auctioning method will yield you optimal prices for your own auction, hence the start of A-List Auctions On-Line! Prior to starting A-List Auctions I obtained my B.S. in Marketing while working in advertising for broadcast TV commercials on local, regional, and national ad campaigns for large corporations. I was also a trained professional opera singer and farming a few hundred acres of crops. My focus today is running the auction business as well as a licensed real estate agent if you choose to list your real estate vs. auction.
